In a decisive opening game of the 2027 season, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 32-14. Both teams were eager to make a strong statement, but it was the Ravens who showcased their dominance throughout the matchup, securing an early lead that they maintained until the final whistle. Cam Ward of the Cardinals delivered an impressive performance, throwing for 248 yards and two touchdowns, with Larry Fitzgerald serving as his top target, racking up 127 receiving yards. However, the Ravens' offense was balanced, with Cam Skattebo contributing 68 rushing yards to complement their passing attack, ensuring a multi-faceted offensive threat that kept the Cardinals' defense on its heels. Defensively, the Ravens asserted their control, led by Derek Stingley Jr., who made six total tackles, and Roquan Smith, who notched an interception to halt a Cardinals drive. Keldric Faulk added pressure with a sack, showcasing the Ravens' ability to disrupt Arizona's rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Smith's interception shifted momentum back to Baltimore, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
