In a hard-fought battle, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 26-23 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams came into this matchup looking to solidify their standings, but it was Pittsburgh that ultimately emerged victorious. Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 333 yards and three touchdowns. His precision and ability to connect with his receivers proved crucial, allowing Pittsburgh to maintain momentum throughout the game. Meanwhile, Houston’s Deuce Vaughn and Tank Dell also had strong performances, with Vaughn rushing for 113 yards and Dell matching that in receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Steelers' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Steelers were led by linebacker Patrick Queen, who recorded 10 total tackles, and T.J. Watt, who added a sack to his tally. The turning point of the game came late in the fourth quarter when Pittsburgh's defense held strong, forcing a crucial turnover that allowed them to seal the victory and maintain their lead. This win not only boosts the Steelers' confidence but also keeps them firmly in the playoff race as the season approaches its final weeks.
