In a tightly contested matchup, the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Minnesota Vikings 21-13 in Week 12 of the 2026 season. Both teams were fighting for playoff positioning, but it was the Falcons who emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience on both sides of the ball. Michael Vick led the Falcons' offensive charge with an impressive 354 passing yards, while his counterpart Kyler Murray threw for two touchdowns despite the loss. Murray also made an impact on the ground, rushing for 73 yards, but it was Vick's ability to connect with his receivers that ultimately tilted the game in Atlanta's favor. Defensively, while the Vikings had standout performances—Blake Cashman recording five tackles and Andrew Van Ginkel contributing 1.5 sacks—the Falcons managed to create crucial stops when needed. The turning point came late in the game when Atlanta's defense stifled a potential game-tying drive, allowing the Falcons to secure the win and maintain their playoff hopes.
