The Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the New York Jets 31-28 in a thrilling Week 10 matchup that showcased the determination of both teams as they vie for playoff positioning. With this victory, the Bills improve their standing and reaffirm their status as contenders in the AFC. Offensively, J.J. McCarthy of the Jets put on a show, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns, proving to be a formidable presence under center. However, James Cook III's 110 rushing yards were pivotal for the Bills, as he consistently moved the chains and provided balance to the offense. Garrett Wilson also impressed for the Jets, racking up 142 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Bills made critical plays when it mattered most, with Terrel Bernard leading the way with nine total tackles and Greg Rousseau adding two sacks to pressure McCarthy throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Rousseau's sack set the Jets back, forcing a crucial turnover on downs and allowing the Bills to maintain their lead. With both teams showcasing offensive firepower, it was ultimately Buffalo's defensive resilience that secured the hard-fought victory.
