In a decisive Week 10 matchup, the Washington Commanders topped the New York Giants 35-17, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum as the season progresses, the Commanders emerged victorious with a strong all-around performance. Quarterback Jayden Daniels led the charge for Washington, throwing for three touchdowns and showcasing his ability to find the end zone. Ashton Jeanty proved to be a key asset on the ground, racking up 106 rushing yards, while the Giants' Jaxson Dart managed to put up 225 passing yards but struggled to convert that into scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Commanders made critical plays that shifted the momentum in their favor, notably a key interception by Tyler Owens that halted a potential Giants' scoring drive. Daron Payne contributed with a sack that added to the pressure on Dart, while Brian Burns of the Giants recorded a solid eight tackles, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Ultimately, Washington's ability to capitalize on defensive stops was the deciding factor in this contest.
