The Atlanta Falcons dominated the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 42-14 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. This victory keeps the Falcons firmly in playoff contention, while the Bengals struggle to find their footing in the competitive landscape of the league. Michael Vick was the standout performer for Atlanta, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for 76 yards, showcasing his dual-threat ability. Kyle Pitts Sr. also made a significant impact, racking up 129 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target throughout the game. Despite a strong performance from Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for 319 yards, it was not enough to keep pace with the Falcons' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Falcons were effective in key moments, with James Pearce Jr. recording a sack and Jessie Bates III grabbing an interception, both vital in stalling Cincinnati's momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Vick's rushing touchdown extended Atlanta's lead, leaving the Bengals struggling to recover. Overall, the Falcons' balanced attack and opportunistic defense paved the way for a convincing victory.
