In a dominant display, the Atlanta Falcons crushed the San Francisco 49ers 55-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Falcons solidify their position as a formidable force in the league, while the 49ers continue to struggle for consistency. Michael Vick was the star of the show, throwing for 211 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. Zachariah Branch also had a standout performance with 77 receiving yards, providing Vick with a reliable target downfield. Meanwhile, Brock Purdy led the 49ers in rushing with 59 yards but struggled to find the end zone, reflecting the team's overall offensive woes. Defensively, the Falcons were relentless, with Israel Mukuamu making a significant impact by snagging two interceptions, disrupting any chance of a 49ers comeback. The game turned decisively in the Falcons' favor early in the second quarter when they scored three consecutive touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach for San Francisco. With Nick Bosa's lone sack unable to stem the tide, the Falcons' defense proved to be just as critical as their explosive offense.
