In a commanding display, the Seattle Seahawks overwhelmed the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 69-21. This Week 5 matchup showcased Seattle's offensive firepower and solidified their position in the playoff race, while the 49ers struggled to keep pace. Quarterback Jalen Milroe was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 521 yards and six touchdowns, setting the tone for the Seahawks' explosive offense. Jaxon Smith-Njigba was a key target, racking up 153 receiving yards, while Omarion Hampton led the 49ers on the ground with 105 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to counter Seattle's aerial assault. Defensively, Richard Sherman led the charge for the Seahawks with six tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the 49ers attempted to build. A pivotal moment came late in the second quarter when the Seahawks intercepted a pass, leading to a quick touchdown and widening their lead to an insurmountable margin. Seattle's defense, coupled with their high-octane offense, proved to be too much for San Francisco on this day.
