In a thrilling Week 11 showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the New York Jets with a final score of 39-28, improving their record as they continue to vie for playoff positioning. The Jets, despite a valiant effort, could not keep pace with the explosive Chiefs offense, which proved too much to handle in crucial moments. Patrick Mahomes was in vintage form, tossing four touchdown passes to help propel his team to victory. Geno Smith led the Jets with 278 passing yards and kept the game competitive, but it was Kenneth Walker's 75 rushing yards that provided a solid ground game for Kansas City. On the receiving end, Garrett Wilson shined for New York, racking up 102 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Defensively, the game was marked by a critical interception from L'Jarius Sneed, which shifted the momentum in favor of the Chiefs. Jamien Sherwood had a standout performance for the Jets with eight total tackles and a sack, but it was not enough to turn the tide. Ultimately, the combination of timely offensive plays and key defensive stops secured Kansas City’s victory, allowing them to hold off a late Jets rally.
