In a pivotal Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the New Orleans Saints with a final score of 26 to 16, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Raiders came into this game looking to build momentum, and they did just that, overcoming a stout Saints defense. Offensively, the Raiders were led by a powerful performance from Mike Washington Jr., who rushed for an impressive 161 yards, providing a consistent ground attack that kept the Saints on their heels. Tyler Shough of the Saints put up a valiant effort through the air, throwing for 225 yards, while Jordyn Tyson emerged as a reliable target, racking up 101 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Raiders were bolstered by a key interception from Rayshawn Jenkins, which shifted momentum late in the game. Although Chase Young of the Saints recorded eight tackles and a sack, his efforts weren't enough to prevent the Raiders from controlling the pace. The turning point came when Jenkins intercepted a Saints drive in the fourth quarter, allowing Las Vegas to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
