In a high-scoring affair, the Kansas City Chiefs outlasted the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 56-35 in Week 14 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams brought their A-game, but it was the Chiefs who came out on top, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Kansas City’s Brashard Smith was the standout performer, racking up an impressive 245 rushing yards and finding the end zone multiple times. Meanwhile, Steelers quarterback Drew Allar also had a stellar game, throwing for 318 yards and four touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Chiefs' explosive offense. Tight end Pat Freiermuth added to the Steelers’ offensive effort with 111 receiving yards, keeping the game competitive throughout. Defensively, the Chiefs made pivotal plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Chris Jones was a force on the defensive line, notching two sacks, while Mansoor Delane’s interception helped stifle any Steelers' comeback attempts. Ultimately, Kansas City's ability to pressure Allar and capitalize on key turnovers proved to be the difference-maker, sealing the victory and showcasing their dominance at home.
