The Dallas Cowboys cruised to a decisive 44-17 victory over the Washington Commanders in Week 18 of the 2026 season, solidifying their place in the playoffs with an emphatic win. The stakes were high as both teams battled for positioning, but it was the Cowboys who asserted their dominance on both sides of the ball. Joe Milton was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 416 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and connect with his receiving corps. CeeDee Lamb was his favorite target, racking up a staggering 248 receiving yards, while Jaydon Blue contributed on the ground with 68 rushing yards to keep the Commanders' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, Azareye'h Thomas led the charge for the Cowboys with 11 total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the Commanders tried to build. The turning point came early in the second half when a crucial interception by the Cowboys' defense led to a quick touchdown, allowing Dallas to pull away and effectively seal the game. With a strong performance from both the offense and defense, the Cowboys demonstrated they are a force to be reckoned with as the playoffs approach.
