In a decisive Week 6 showdown, the Detroit Lions topped the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 24-6, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Lions showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Rams scrambling for answers. Haynes King led the charge for Detroit, throwing for 244 yards and a touchdown, while Jameson Williams provided a dynamic target with 125 receiving yards. The Lions' ground game was less explosive, with Jahmyr Gibbs managing 39 rushing yards, but the aerial attack was more than enough to secure the victory, as King efficiently moved the ball downfield. Defensively, the Lions were relentless, with Aidan Hutchinson recording 1.5 sacks and Craig Woodson snagging an interception that halted any Rams momentum. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Woodson's interception set up a touchdown drive for Detroit, extending their lead to 17-6. The Rams struggled to recover from that blow, unable to find their rhythm against a fierce Lions defense.
