The Seattle Seahawks topped the Washington Commanders with a final score of 31-17 in a crucial Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the year, but it was the Seahawks who came out on top, showcasing their offensive prowess and strategic execution. Seattle's Jalen Milroe was the standout performer, throwing for three touchdowns and helping to set the tone for the Seahawks' offense. Meanwhile, Jadarian Price contributed significantly on the ground with 72 rushing yards, while Terry McLaurin led the receiving corps for Washington with 80 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Seahawks’ scoring. Defensively, Seattle made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Ernest Jones IV led the team with four total tackles, and Leonard Williams added a sack that disrupted Washington's rhythm. The turning point came when Devon Witherspoon intercepted a crucial pass, preventing the Commanders from gaining any traction and sealing the Seahawks' victory as they held off Washington's late-game efforts.
