In a commanding performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Minnesota Vikings 28-3 in the Divisional Round of the 2026 season. This victory not only secures their place in the next round of the playoffs, but it also sends a clear message to the rest of the league about their readiness to contend for the championship. Leading the charge for Carolina was quarterback Bryce Young, who threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his precision and poise under pressure. Trevor Etienne was a force on the ground, racking up 156 rushing yards, which allowed the Panthers to control the tempo of the game. Minnesota's Justin Jefferson put in a valiant effort with 94 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to spark the Vikings' offense. Defensively, the Panthers put on a clinic, highlighted by Jaycee Horn's standout performance with four total tackles and two interceptions, which were critical in stifling Minnesota's scoring opportunities. The turning point came in the second quarter when Horn's second interception set up a quick touchdown, giving Carolina a commanding lead that the Vikings could never recover from. With key contributions on both sides of the ball, the Panthers look formidable as they advance in the postseason.
