In a commanding performance, the New York Jets topped the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in Week 17 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff position. The victory showcased the Jets' dominance on both sides of the ball, as they looked to build momentum heading into the postseason. Cade Klubnik was the star of the game, throwing for 206 yards and four touchdowns, leading a potent Jets offense. Breece Hall contributed significantly on the ground with 144 rushing yards, while Taysom Hill was a dynamic target in the passing game, racking up 145 receiving yards. This offensive trio proved too much for the Vikings to handle, as they consistently found ways to exploit defensive weaknesses. Defensively, the Jets were relentless, with standout performances from Demario Davis, David Bailey, and Jarvis Brownlee Jr. Bailey recorded two sacks, putting pressure on the Vikings' quarterback throughout the game, while Brownlee Jr. intercepted two passes, turning the tide in favor of New York. The turning point came in the second quarter when Brownlee Jr.'s first interception led to a quick touchdown, allowing the Jets to seize control and never look back.
