The Seattle Seahawks cruised to a commanding 34-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, the Seahawks showcased their offensive prowess, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Sam Darnold led the charge for Seattle, throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating pinpoint accuracy and poise under pressure. Jaxon Smith-Njigba was his favorite target, racking up an impressive 139 receiving yards, while the balanced offense kept the 49ers guessing all game. Despite a strong performance from San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey, who rushed for 124 yards, the Seahawks’ offense proved too much to handle. Defensively, the Seahawks managed to contain the 49ers' explosive plays, forcing critical turnovers that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle intercepted a pass, leading to a touchdown that widened their lead to two scores. While the 49ers' Nick Bosa made his mark with 2.5 sacks, it was the Seahawks' cohesive defensive effort that ultimately sealed the game, allowing them to hold off any comeback attempts.
