The Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-20 in a tightly contested Week 9 matchup of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Broncos who emerged victorious, extending their winning streak. Bo Nix led the way for Denver, throwing for 207 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make critical plays when needed. Marvin Mims Jr. was a key target, racking up 75 receiving yards, while Chuba Hubbard of the Panthers put up an impressive performance on the ground with 148 rushing yards, keeping the Carolina offense competitive throughout the game. Defensively, the Broncos made crucial stops, highlighted by Nik Bonitto's sack and Riley Moss's interception, which helped shift momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Moss intercepted a pass that thwarted a potential game-tying drive for the Panthers, allowing Denver to hold on for the win.
