In a tightly contested matchup, the Tokyo Shamrocks narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-20 in Week 8 of the 2026 Madden season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Shamrocks who managed to secure the crucial victory on the road. Caleb Williams stood out for Tokyo, leading the ground game with 61 rushing yards, while Sam Darnold of the Seahawks had a solid performance, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdowns. Darnold's effort kept Seattle competitive, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Shamrocks' offensive push. Defensively, the Seahawks struggled to contain Tokyo's momentum, despite Derick Hall's three tackles and Byron Murphy II's sack. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Shamrocks' defense stifled a potential game-tying drive from Seattle, allowing them to hold on for the win. As the season progresses, this victory could prove pivotal for Tokyo as they chase a playoff spot.
