In a dominant display, the Denver Broncos topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 42-14, solidifying their position in the early part of the 2026 season. The Broncos' offense was firing on all cylinders, looking to establish themselves as contenders in the league. RJ Harvey was the standout performer on the ground, racking up an impressive 130 rushing yards, while Jaylen Waddle made an impact in the air with 100 receiving yards. Quarterback Brock Purdy of the 49ers also had a notable game, throwing for 223 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Broncos' relentless attack. Defensively, the Broncos made their presence felt, led by Jonathon Cooper, who contributed two sacks to disrupt the 49ers' rhythm. The game turned decisively in the second quarter as the Broncos’ defense stifled San Francisco's drives, allowing their offense to capitalize and build a commanding lead. With Talanoa Hufanga leading the team in tackles, the Broncos not only contained their opponents but also put pressure on Purdy, ensuring a comfortable victory.
