In a commanding performance, the Green Bay Packers topped the Vancouver Lumberjacks 44-26 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This victory not only solidifies the Packers' early-season momentum but also raises questions about the Lumberjacks’ defensive capabilities moving forward. Jordan Love was the standout for Green Bay, throwing for 291 yards and an impressive five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to spread the ball effectively. Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground with 59 rushing yards, while Adonai Mitchell of the Lumberjacks put up a strong fight, racking up 124 receiving yards despite the loss. Defensively, the Packers made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Evan Williams recorded two interceptions, which proved pivotal in stifling Vancouver's scoring opportunities. The game's turning point came when Williams' second pick resulted in a quick touchdown drive for Green Bay, extending their lead and putting the Lumberjacks in a tough position to respond.
