In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos with a final score of 65-55, solidifying their playoff positioning as the season draws to a close. Both teams showcased explosive offensive capabilities, but it was Buffalo’s high-flying attack that ultimately prevailed in this shootout. Josh Allen was the star of the night for the Bills, throwing for an impressive 441 yards and an astounding eight touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and find open receivers. On the other side, the Broncos' Derrick Henry rushed for 110 yards, while Jaylen Waddle had a record-breaking night with 245 receiving yards, but their efforts weren't enough to overcome Buffalo's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Bills made critical plays that swung momentum in their favor, with Greg Rousseau leading the charge with 2.5 sacks. Maxwell Hairston contributed significantly with five total tackles, helping to stifle key drives from the Broncos. The turning point came late in the game when Allen connected with his receivers for a series of quick touchdowns, putting Denver in a position where they had to play catch-up, ultimately sealing the victory for Buffalo.
