In a tightly contested matchup, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Green Bay Packers, 25-20, in Week 2 of the 2027 season. The win was crucial for the Broncos as they look to establish momentum early in the season, while the Packers aimed to bounce back from a challenging start. On the offensive side, Jordan Love delivered a standout performance for the Packers, throwing for 369 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. However, it was Derrick Henry who shone for the Broncos, rushing for 86 yards and providing a steady ground game that complemented their passing attack. Christian Watson also impressed for Green Bay, racking up 142 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Defensively, the game turned in Denver’s favor as they managed to limit the Packers' explosive plays in critical moments. While Edgerrin Cooper led the Packers with eight tackles, it was the Broncos' ability to contain the Packers' offense in the second half that ultimately sealed the win. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Broncos' defense stifled a potential game-tying drive, allowing them to hold off Green Bay's late surge.
