In a decisive Week 12 clash, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Minnesota Vikings with a commanding 17-0 victory, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season nears its conclusion. The Falcons' strong performance showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, while the Vikings struggled to find their rhythm throughout the contest. Jonathan Taylor was the standout on offense for Atlanta, racking up 132 rushing yards to propel their ground game. Meanwhile, Minnesota's Kyler Murray led the team with 126 passing yards, but the Vikings' inability to cross the goal line ultimately proved costly. Justin Jefferson's 78 receiving yards were not enough to spark a comeback, as the Vikings were held scoreless. Defensively, the Falcons were relentless, with Avieon Terrell leading the charge with six total tackles. The turning point came when Harold Perkins Jr. intercepted Murray, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing Atlanta to maintain momentum. With their defense locking down Minnesota's offense, the Falcons were able to cruise to victory and reinforce their position in the playoff race.
