In a commanding performance, the Cincinnati Bengals triumphed over the Washington Commanders with a final score of 47-28 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. This victory keeps the Bengals firmly in playoff contention as they continue to showcase their offensive firepower. Leading the charge for Cincinnati was quarterback Joe Burrow, who posted an impressive 400 passing yards and threw three touchdown passes, demonstrating his elite playmaking ability. Velus Jones Jr. contributed significantly on the ground with 76 rushing yards, while the receiving corps was bolstered by a strong outing from Tyreek Hill, who racked up 129 receiving yards for Washington. Defensively, the Bengals made crucial plays to stifle the Commanders' momentum, with Boye Mafe leading the charge with a sack. The turning point came in the second quarter when Cincinnati scored back-to-back touchdowns, stretching their lead and forcing Washington to play catch-up. Despite a notable effort from Mike Sainristil, who recorded eight tackles for the Commanders, the Bengals' defense proved more than capable of holding off any comeback attempts.
