The Chicago Bears dominated the New York Jets with a final score of 31-7 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. This victory not only boosts the Bears' confidence but also solidifies their standing in the league, showcasing their offensive prowess against a struggling Jets team. Taylen Green led the charge for Chicago, throwing for two touchdowns while directing an efficient offense. Cade Klubnik of the Jets managed to rack up 189 passing yards, but struggled to find the end zone, with his team ultimately failing to keep pace with the Bears. D'Andre Swift added to the Bears' attack with his ground game, contributing 24 rushing yards, while Matthew Golden was the standout receiver for New York, amassing 88 receiving yards. Defensively, the Bears were imposing, with Montez Sweat recording 1.5 sacks and Xavier Woods contributing an interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came early in the second half when Woods’ pick led to a quick touchdown, putting the game out of reach for the Jets and allowing the Bears to control the tempo for the remainder of the contest. Minkah Fitzpatrick's three tackles were commendable, but it was the Bears' defensive front that truly dictated the game's outcome.
