In a dominating performance to kick off the 2026 season, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 35-10. With both teams looking to establish early momentum, the Packers showcased their playoff aspirations while the Vikings aimed to bounce back from a disappointing previous season. Quarterback Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for an impressive 301 yards and four touchdowns. His favorite target, Christian Watson, had a breakout game, racking up 217 receiving yards and two touchdowns, proving to be a nightmare for the Vikings' secondary. Despite the Vikings' struggles, Kyler Murray managed to lead his team in rushing, but his 31 yards paled in comparison to the Packers' explosive passing game. Defensively, the Packers were relentless, with Carrington Valentine recording five total tackles and Devonte Wyatt contributing with a sack. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Love threw his third touchdown pass, extending the lead to 21-3, which effectively put the game out of reach for Minnesota. The Vikings failed to recover, as the Packers' defense continued to stifle their efforts throughout the second half.
