In a high-scoring thriller, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Green Bay Packers 43-35 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the matchup looking to solidify their standings, but it was the Falcons who emerged victorious in a game that showcased offensive firepower and defensive standouts. The Falcons' offense was led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for four touchdowns and helped guide Atlanta's explosive attack. Running back Bijan Robinson was a force on the ground, amassing 179 rushing yards that kept the Packers' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, the Packers saw their own standout performance from Jordan Love, who threw for 338 yards and kept his team competitive throughout the contest. Defensively, the Falcons made a crucial impact with A.J. Terrell Jr. intercepting a pivotal pass, which shifted momentum late in the game. Although Micah Parsons recorded two sacks for the Packers, it was the Falcons' ability to capitalize on their defensive opportunities that ultimately sealed the victory. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Terrell's interception led to a touchdown, allowing Atlanta to hold off a late surge from Green Bay and secure the win.
