In a commanding performance to kick off the 2026 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Atlanta Falcons 31-10. With both teams eager to establish themselves early in the season, the Steelers showcased their strength and depth, securing a decisive win on their home turf. Steelers quarterback Drew Allar was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 336 yards and four touchdowns, effectively dismantling the Falcons' secondary. His main target, Michael Pittman, racked up 124 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable weapon throughout the game. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson led the Falcons' efforts on the ground with 103 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Pittsburgh's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Steelers were relentless, with Jaquan Brisker leading the charge with eight total tackles. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Steelers forced a critical turnover, allowing Allar to capitalize with a quick touchdown pass. The Falcons struggled to recover from that momentum shift, ultimately falling short as Pittsburgh's defense continued to stifle their attempts to mount a comeback.
