How do I use Raffle → Manage?

Manage is where a raffle is created, changed, and finished. If no raffle is running it shows the Create a raffle form. If one is running it shows how it is going, every setting you can still change, and the buttons that end it.

Where to find it

On the website: press XP in the sidebar, open the Overview tab, press Open Raffle, then stay on the Manage tab — it is the one you land on.

On your phone: tap More → XP, pick Overview from the Choose a section dropdown, press Open Raffle, then Manage.

Start a raffle

Fill in the Create a raffle form and press Create raffle:

  1. Name and Prize — both show on the board members see, so write them for members, not for you.
  2. Starts at and Ends at — always Central Time (US). Daylight saving is handled for you.
  3. XP per ticket — what one extra ticket costs.
  4. Free tickets a day — how many tickets somebody gets just for checking in. Set it to 0 if you want a paid-only raffle.
  5. Most tickets per person, per day — the ceiling, free and bought counted together. This is what stops one rich member buying the whole hat.
  6. Who can enter — leave it on Anyone with a team role, or pick one role.
  7. Raffle board channel — where the buy-tickets board sits.
  8. Winner announcement channel — where the reveal posts. Leave it blank and the reveal uses the raffle board channel.

Then press Post the raffle board. Nothing happens until you do — the board is how members enter.

While it is running

The top of the tab shows Tickets sold, XP collected, Entrants and Tickets in the hat.

Every setting above stays editable. Change what you need and press Save settings.

Post the winner reveal

This switch sits under Winner announcement channel. It is on unless you turn it off.

Off, the winner is still drawn and still recorded — you see them on this tab and on History — but nothing is posted in Discord. That includes the fallback: with the switch off, the reveal does not slide into your raffle board channel either.

Leave it on for a normal raffle. Turn it off when you want to announce the winner yourself, in your own words, at your own moment.

Everything else carries on exactly as before: tickets are still sold, XP is still taken, the draw is still random and still weighted by tickets, and the result is still on file.

Finishing it

  • Draw winner now — picks the winner, closes the raffle, and posts the reveal if that switch is on. The more tickets somebody holds, the better their odds.
  • Cancel campaign — ends it with no winner. Tickets stay on file.
  • Delete (permanent) — removes the raffle and every ticket entry. This is for a raffle created by mistake. For a normal ending, use Cancel campaign.

Common problems

  • Nobody is entering. The board has not been posted. Press Post the raffle board and check members can read that channel.
  • I drew a winner and nothing was announced. Post the winner reveal is off. The winner is on this tab and on the History tab — announce them yourself, or switch it on before the next draw.
  • One member has most of the tickets. That is Most tickets per person, per day set high. Lower it and it applies from that point on.
  • I cannot draw. A raffle can only be drawn once, and only one draw runs at a time. If you have already drawn, the winner is on History.
