How do I change my league's name?

Your league's name lives in the Branding section of the Overview Hub. It is what the bot calls your league everywhere — the titles on its posts and the headers on your dashboard pages.

Where to find it

On the website: the sidebar's My Account row lands you on it — or open League → Overview and scroll down to the Branding section. It is collapsed; tap the heading to open it.

In the app: More → Overview, then scroll down to Branding.

Step by step

  1. Open the Branding section.
  2. Type your name into League Name. Fifty characters at most, and it cannot be left empty.
  3. Press Save League Name.

That name is not your Discord server's name, and changing one does not change the other. This is the name the bot writes on things.

Making the bot itself yours

The bot can appear in your server under your own name and picture. It comes as one paid add-on called Featured League & Custom Branding, which also puts your league at the top of Franchise Finder — one $5 a month covers both. You will find it in Overview's License & Billing section (league owner only) — press Get Both Add-Ons to buy it.

Once it is active, the same card grows an editor: What the bot is called here (up to 32 characters — that is Discord's limit, not ours) and Picture web address (a PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP — leave it blank to keep the default picture), then Save The Bot's Look.

What is not here any more

If you remember a Branding page offering an accent colour, a logo upload, a footer and custom embed titles, those options were retired. The league name is the branding control that remains.

Common problems

  • Discord still shows the old name. Give it a minute. The bot keeps your settings in memory for a short while and repaints its posts on the next pass.
  • My server name did not change. It would not. That is a Discord setting and only a server admin can change it, in Discord.
  • Saving does nothing. The field cannot be left empty — a league with no name breaks every heading that uses it.
  • I cannot see License & Billing. It is owner-only. Your league owner looks after the license, billing and add-ons.
